The clubs in the area do a lot of (Volunteer) work to provide safe trails and good riding conditions. Many people feel they contribute enough to this with their NYS registration fee. The truth is 70% to 80% of the funds required are raised privately, and some run into the red every year. The cost of equipment and fuel to operate successfully is HIGH!! Not to mention the insurance companies that threaten to cancel policies year after year. Please join at least one of the 15+ clubs in the area to help them with the costs. It will only benefit all that enjoy the riding. Don't forget the trail fund jars found at local businesses. ONLY YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!
