Snowmobiling in Northern Europe is very popular and growing.
There were 17,387 new snowmobiles sold in the countries of
Finland, Sweden and Norway in 2003-2004. There are over 300
snowmobile clubs in Sweden alone and they, like their North
American brothers and sisters, participate in fund raising,
trail development, shows and more. In the Scandinavian
countries, snowmobiling is a big part of their winter
economic engine and provides thousands of full time jobs. |
