Snodeo is the “Kick-Off” weekend for the 2007/2008
snowmobile season in Old Forge. On Friday morning, watch the exciting
Snowmobile Manufacturer’s Challenge in Woodgate, NY, and
then Snodeo will be open 3pm-8pm. On Saturday, Snodeo
will be open from 10am until 5pm. There will be seminars
scheduled, and the 120cc races for our next generation
of snowmobilers.

Area Trail Are Officially Open. On Tug
Hill, the seasonal roads are open to snowmobilers before
this date, conditions permitting, however the trails are
not maintained. Prior to December 8th is hunting
season, as well the majority of snowmobile trails are
closed. Tug Hill is unique, where you can ride the
seasonal/fire roads prior to the season opening.
Ride at night to respect the hunters and please don't
ride on closed trails.

5th Annual Central Adirondack Vintage Snowmobile Show -
10am - 4pm. Featured presentation of the 31st Annual
Snodeo held at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation
Center on North Street in Old Forge. FREE admission and
registration, plaques awarded to all participants, no
pre-registration
